On July 24, 28, and 29, Dan Ettinger will lead the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra in a dynamic program that highlights two masterful compositions.

The evening begins with Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20, a piece that combines turbulent emotion with exquisite beauty. Pianist Tomoki Sakata will bring his extraordinary skill and heartfelt interpretation to the concerto, promising an unforgettable performance.

Following this, the orchestra will perform Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4, “Romantic“, a majestic work known for its sweeping melodies and thundering climaxes. This year marks the 200th anniversary of Bruckner’s birth, making this rendition particularly significant. Ettinger, the orchestra’s esteemed conductor laureate, will guide the Tokyo Philharmonic through the symphony’s intricate and evocative landscapes, offering a wonderful tribute to Bruckner’s genius.
