‘La Traviata’ at Israeli Opera

This summer, Dan Ettinger will conduct Verdi’s magnificent opera La Traviata with Israeli Opera where he is the current music director of the company.

This new lavish production by Alessandro Talevi will be set in the contemporary fashion scene and will feature stunning costumes by Anja Vang Kragh who previously designed for famed labels including Dior and Stella McCartney.

The incredible cast includes Anush Hovhannisyan and Hila Baggio alternating as Violetta, Leonardo Capalbo and Joseph Dennis alternating as Alfredo, Sebastian Catana and Ionut Pascu alternating as Germont, Shay Bloch and Anat Czarny alternating as Flora, Tal Bergman and Shaked Strul alternating as Annina, Oded Reich and Yair Polishook alternating as Marquis d’Obigny, Anthony Webb as Gaston, Noah Briger as Baron Douphol, Vladimir Braun as Doctor Grenvil and Liran Kopel as Giuseppe.

Performances of the opera will take place on July 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, August 9 and 10.
